The Leonardo R3 Board, compatible with Arduiino and featuring a micro-USB connection, is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32u4. It includes 20 digital I/O pins (7 of which can be used for PWM output and 12 for analog input), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro USB port, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The board comes equipped with everything needed to support the microcontroller. Simply connect it to a computer via USB, or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to start using it.What sets Arduiino Leonardo R3 ATMEGA32U4 Board apart from earlier models is its ATmega32u4’s built-in USB communication, which eliminates the need for a secondary processor. This capability allows the Leonardo to be recognized by a connected computer as both a mouse and keyboard, in addition to a virtual (CDC) serial/COM port. This feature also affects the board’s functionality and behavior in various applications.
