Absolutely Brilliant

I would go so far and say that Orson Scott Card is the best sci fi writer of our generation and Ender's Game is his definitive masterpiece. The book keeps you hooked till the very end. The conflict faced by the main protagonist has been beautifully portrayed. I would highly recommend to all sci-fi lovers, this is as good as it gets.

One sci-fi of its kind

Proper segmentation of the story and the easy language in which it is presented makes this book an awesome read. The story will at once gain pace during the battle description and will take the readers to a whole new level of excitement and thrill. The characters and the boy Ender in the story portray strong will power and an urge to win come what may happen.
The climax is the most interesting one as it is a surprise both for the readers as well as the main character of the story.

One of the greatest sf novels ever

This is a remarkable work of genius. The concept of child geniuses being coopted to fight in an interplanetary war against an alien culture is not only original but has been handled with brilliance and sensitivity. I would recommend this as an mandatory read for all sf fans and rank it among the greatest science fiction novels ever written

One of My Favourite SciFi Books

Ender's game is a true SciFi classic. One would be mistaken if they think this is just a children's book. It is engaging and intelligent and doesn't pander to the masses. You are immersed into ender's world where you admire and empathize with him. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to spend some time on a classic SciFi yarn.

Instant classic

Ender's Game sometimes gets written off as a children's book (by people who haven't read it) - which it's not. It's a brilliant, complex story of a frighteningly possible future, where children are forced to take on roles that should be handled by very experienced adults - with interesting results. The extremely detailed look into the mind of the child protagonist, coupled with the spectacular plot, makes this story what it is - a science fiction classic. It combines cold clarity with surpris...

Genre of this book is not exactly Sci-Fi, it has to be "military tactics"

The genre of this book is not exactly Sci-Fi, it has to be "military tactics." Yes, it is set up on the backdrop of future world. It was a nice, light reading, nothing special. The story is also straight and clear(simple and flat).
