  • Description

Published in 2008, Engineering Electromagnetics is ideal for understanding the basics of the complex field of electromagnetism.

    Summary Of The Book

Written in a simplistic style and filled with examples, Engineering Electromagnetics is a reference book for people studying electromagnetism.
Engineering Electromagnetics includes numerous topics and each topic comes with an exercise at the end, which includes various problems and questions. In total, the book has over 600 problems at the end of each chapter. What makes the book different from any other is that it focuses deeply on the application of electromagnetic and mathematical problems, instead of merely leaving the reader only with various theoretical explanations. No topic is presented without its application basis or its relevance to another topic.

Engineering Electromagnetics includes a new chapter that introduces numerical methods into the electromagnetic curriculum, and discusses the concepts of finite element, finite difference, and moment methods. It is ideal for numerous competitive examinations such as the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) and the Indian Engineering Service (IES) exams. The examples in the book and the precise, clear-cut explanations make it student-friendly. The book has topics that cover two semesters. Anybody with a basic knowledge of calculus can also use this book for self-study.

    Awesome Book

This book is awesome in terms of both, mathematical discussion and application. The application part is really good and it kicks your interest in the subject.I found it a lot better than book by David Cheng which is mainly mathematical.

    Brilliant book!

I've previously referred to 3-4 other books on EM- Hayt, Sadiku, Cheng and Edmeinster, and this one is by far the best. The other books often felt like a course of applied vector maths, but this one actually helps you physically derive the math. The focus on the physical aspect of EM and not only the math is what makes this book really good for me.
Each chapter also has a section on applications at the end which is incredibly fascinating. Also, all the problems have the answers given at the b...
