    Definitely good choice

Best book of thermodynamics for practise and clear understanding. Must buy for all competitions. Ample solved and unsolved numericals. But the theory part is not for starters as it is very concise. Have Cengel Book for concept building.

    Also check this

This book is good but goes deep by adding several facts and problems not needed for most exams and also not contain some needed topics. In other way said 'not written with an exam point of view but rather like a comprehensive, reference like style adding as much contents to make it bulky like most other engineering books'.

Check this book written by the author P. K. Nag and 2 others in the most lucid manner with added topics.

Come on guys...who can write on all the topics....they are no Einstein...they have just stuffed it with information from various sources.... Pk nag along with cengel is beat for thermal science...
