This book cannot be read overnight. The author does not compromise in starting from the basics and the rigour.The concept of entropy very abstract and inexplicably everywhere is explained beautifully. I started appreciating the book when i started analyzing each graph ( A lot of the explanation is graphical). Well worth if you have the time and inclination to pore overit. But keep a more EXAM FRIENDLY book with you (-:

In my view this book is very useful to build our basic knowledge & to understand concepts of thermodynamics. Very good solved examples, theoretical review questions. Just a amazing book.

My teacher referred this this book to our class. More than half of the students failed for the exam. The problem was that this book is not at all easy to learn.
