English Please Starter Book (English, Paperback, Harrison Richard)

"English Please!" is a three-level course in English especially written for the Arab world, comprising a starter level book for non-alphabet beginners, Book 1 for beginners and Book 2 for elementary students. The course is intended for adult Arabs who have little or no English. The course is fully integrated and features a combined student's book and workbook. It recognises learning styles favoured in the Arab world and introduces and practices the letters of the alphabet and numbers. It also focuses on spelling and punctuation and the use of capital letters. Ther are summaries of grammar and vocabulary at the end of each unit and tests are provided at frequent intervals. Regular revision units recycle language and grammatical structures. The course presents language through topics and situations which are of relevance to Arab learners.
