NET is one of the most difficult examinations, more so because the syllabus is very vast and only a few lucky ones can cross the threshold, especially in English. This is borne out by the small number of students who have been able to clear the test over the years. The present book is written keeping in mind the existing pattern which is effective from June 2012 examination according to which Paper II and III have objective-type questions, as well as the new pattern (2018) whereby two Papers II and III have been merged into one Paper II.
