An excellent self-study, practise or reference book, English Vocabulary In Use Advanced (With CD-Rom) is a helpful tool in honing your English language and vocabulary skills.

    Summary Of The Book

English Vocabulary In Use Advanced (With CD-Rom) provides over 2,000 words and expressions, presented in comprehensive and relatable contexts and examples. A total of hundred colourful and bright units cover a wide range of topics, with two pages dedicated to each unit. Topics like People and Relationships, Work and Study, Travel, and The Environment, are used to explain the new words and exhibit them in a working example. An entire unit has been dedicated to the various aspects of vocabulary learning, and one for word types and WORD formations.

In addition to the usage of authentic text, English Vocabulary In Use Advanced (With CD-Rom) also offers a detailed and comprehensive answer key for the benefit of the students. An additional index with phonetic transcriptions is provided to aid the reader in the learning process. The practical approach of this book is ascertained by the fact that the words have been adapted into sentences and situations in order to demonstrate the correct usage of the term.

This book is great for expanding your current vocabulary, and is also an engaging method of promoting a healthy learning habit. Useful study tips, and practise tasks add to the learning process. Boasting of a clear Cambridge style structure, this book has been meticulously researched and does a good job of elaborating upon the subtleties between the collocation and meaning of a word.
