The charging completes in less than 20 minutes for any type of battery making me wonder if this is really charging the batteries to their full capacity or not.

Have not tested extensively but from what I observed the batteries seem to run out of charge very quickly.

I use this to charge AA batteries for my Canon camera and they don't seem to last long.

Build quality doesn't look very good and the plastic quality is cheap.

Having a display is good but if it does not show the correct stat...

worth buying... :) it works wel,l charges your batteries within 2.5 hrs a good for for a low cost and the auto cutoff facility works really good and is an advantage from preventing over heating

Envie speedster rocks...
I have been using for a few months now and is confirmed that batteries charge faster and do not over charge. The is definitely a good product and a must have. Easy to use and the indicators are really helpful.

There are not many fast chargers available in this price range. I have 4 2700mAh batteries. 2 from uniross & 2 from sony. I haven't tried putting all 4 at the same time.

I get 15 ~ 20 minutes to fully charge 2 batteries at a time. The indicator feature is very nice too. I have put dead batteries to test and the product does indicate that.

After a long search I bought this charger. I was looking for a quick charger with LCD display, and this has the lowest price tag. You can find many features than a standard charger. It would be good if this charger comes with REFRESH function. I think we need to pay little extra to have REFRESH function. Overall this charger is reasonably good but with poor build quality.

I got this charger after my UNIROSS charger died after 4 years. I liked the old Uniross charger as it used to charge 4 AA cells in just 30 mins. It was a super fast charger. I have been using Energizer, Sony, Envie & Powerex chargers. I would classify Envie Speedster as the worst among all. I own the Speedster since 2 years, it never shows the actual charging status of the batteries. The green light keeps flickering all throughout the charging. I am using this charger for last 8/9months. This is very good quick charger and has the LCD to show you when the charge is complete.
But use of these charger will reduce your battery life. I am sufferer.

I am very pleased with the product. It's been performing perfectly since the day it arrived.

Its just a little difficult to get the batteries out after charging due to the snug fit (good its not loose).

A product I would certainly recommend .
