Lord of the rings and harry potter series may be regarded as in line with this... but this series is so much more different ,
Its not just about magic and war and a fantasy world elves dwarfs and humans. Its the social politics and mind games that will take your breath away.
paolini's writing has very intricately described as how a human mind works through a dragon which is fascinating.

Eragon, 1st book of Inheritance cycle
I just love the way Paolini writes. Vivid discriptions that take me right into the story. But it's the twists that I love most. Fans of fantasy and magic, don't miss this.But I must say, those who totally hate war might not like it so much.Personally, this book is AWESOME !!

Eragon, first book in Inheritance cycle, reflects brilliance of Christopher Paolini, epic plot, and is full of fantasy adventures.
Story of book is not with great pace, and doesn't seem to be fully packed, Incidents are tries to bought in place,
but still its a good novel.
Flow of story is not natural and fluidic as Harry Potter and LOTR.

When I was seven I watched a movie with a dragon in it. And the dragon had wings of feathers. Yeah, the movie sucked. That’s all there is to tell. But I decided to try the book. Imagine you are a 15 year old teen who finds a dragon egg - not knowing it was a dragon egg- and then tries to sell it. Great book. The description of locations makes you feel like you are really there. The characters are well placed. Overall, a pretty good read. But, Flipkart's delivery has been poor. The book has been shipped only after 3 days of order

IT IS A great book. Good writing, and lots of adventure. it is along read and very exciting. I am ten and this is in one of my top five series. There are three other books in this series, you should read them if you like the this one. the names of the other books are: Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance.
