There are two options in this
1. You can set a timer to SWITCH OFF the device after the set time ( max 9hr 50min )
2. You can set a timer to SWITCH ON the device after the prescribed time. ( Max 9 hr 50 min )
But there is no option to use it as a regular socket, i feel this could be the disadvantage.
And
If the power cuts, then the device is loosing its set time.
