First about the bulbs - this is a good product and delivered well.
In general, LED light may not be direct replacement for a tube/CFL bulb for all our daily needs because of the following reasons.
1. It provides a more focused light, creating sharp shadows like sunlight, whereas CFL/tube gives a better scattered light.
2. This light should be used well above head level of the people, as the light is so intense to look at.

I bought this at a cost of Rs.350/ 12W LED.
You can use this as replacement for tube light in bedroom (Not Living Room)
Trust me this gives light as good as one tubelight of 40W when used in bedroom.

So assuming cost per unit is Rs.8 and u use this daily for 8 hours

It Gives light equal to a 40 W tube light... very bright... very nice visibility... even LED screens in our house such as TV and computer monitor produces smooth displays or say reflection of this light on objects enhance the colour as compared to normal tube light or CFL. Buy it and also if you compare it with 15-20 W CFL, cfl is very weak and consumes more than this...
