Well researched with excellent illustrative examples.

I've found myself referencing this book multiple times since buying it a few months back. For writers who have been navigating the waters themselves (like most writers in India), this book is an invaluable resource. Particularly thoughtful are the numerous illustrative examples. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to know about working in freelance journalism today, especially in India.

    Excellent resource

If you're a freelance writer (or planning to become one), this book is a must-buy. It's a great resource on understanding the business, how to pitch to publications, how to find contacts etc. Plus there are pitches that worked and other useful examples. It's written in a nice, chatty style, with bulleted takeaways and little nuggets of information. I find myself browsing through it whenever I'm looking for inspiration (or wondering why the heck did I get into this business!).
