The knowledge that changed my convictions.

I rarely write a review, even then I am writing, since I absolutely loved this book. I am surprised to read the contents, which are altogether new. This book has compiled several religious practices prevalent during the prehistoric and historic time. After reading those, a clear cut picture appears how and why humans would have created or imagined their gods. Humans imagined and worshipped the divine powers or gods in order to explain their mysteries and miseries. The author has established ...

A Great Eye-opener Book: Every Young Must Read it.

I liked this book very much. Since my childhood, I was much skeptical and confused about gods and their roles in our life. Whether some divine power created and nourished humans or this dogma was a human projection. I always asked if one God made us then why He created poor & rich, beautiful & ugly and so on. This book taught me that all gods are imaginary and made by us for our convenience.
The author has provided several interesting evidence to support his main argument that humans created...

    just facts no fiction

Ajay kansal starts off with a very arresting question - why are there many religions but only one science on earth but instead of an atheist's rant what we encounter is 200 odd pages of antropology, history and scientific facts that will only do to get our faith (or the lack of it) right. A decent read on the religious evolution of mankind from new problems to new gods to new religions.

    Nothing refreshing

Most of the contents are like copy and paste. There is nothing new or refreshing in this book that I don't already know or read somewhere else.
He has chapters on Hinduism, Judaism and Christianity in the main. The author seems reluctant or in fear for his life to add a chapter on Islam.
To disprove the existence of God in Hinduism (which he allows for with as the largest chapter) is easy, even an atheist child can do that. The attack on monotheism requires more substance which this book lacks

    Pure Facts? I doubt it.

First of all it's an okay book. Now I am no religious type at all, but as a keen seeker of knowledge from both side, I constantly read the books of both side. Now, here author AJAY KANSAL tried to prove that "God doesn't exists."

First of all what he did is asked a simple question, "Have you ever wondered why there is so many religion, but only one Science?". This very question is worth making you ask, "Seriously why?" After that he dwells into the history of human civilization showing how ...

A disappointing Hypothesis of the pathology of time and belief

When I got this book i was so underwhelmed it took me a weak week to read the whole thing and felt that its some creative writing that seems to reek of disappointment. Too much importance has been piled on about how illiterate our ancestors were with their superstitions, Vishnu and Shiva have been sidelined for Indra. The stories of the Vedas and Upanishads which contain a hidden knowledge meant for those whose eyes have been opened by a master has been dispatched to the realm of bedtime tale...

A book that changed my definition of GOD

Yes, I gave it a 3 star rating (comparatively low) and still claim that it had an impact on my definition of God.Even after reading the book, I do believe in God but probably I have become a person with a better understanding of Religion and God. ( That's the beauty of this book ). The author has very lucidly convinced the reader that Religion has always been twisted and turned to suit the needs of society.rulers or diplomats with ulterior motives. It shows how the concept of God and Religion...

    Myth to logic

Those who are genuinely interested in knowing the truth behind the age old myth related to religion and faith, this book is highly recommended. Ajay Kansal did a great job of studying the subject deeply and able to narrate his thoughts in a logical way. Let this book helps people to understand the delusion behind the religious practices and come out of this illusion!. I congratulate the author for his efforts.

    Just Amazing

The Title says it all. We heard about evolution of organisms and mankind before but this time Gods have been proved to be evolved. Such kind of books should be included in school text-books so that the young minds can set themselves free.

The author never becomes judgmental at any point. He just provide details with solid & concrete evidences.

And yes.. Very Lucid English so that you dont have to consult dictionaries too often. A pleasurable and well,... "Divine" Reading.
