This book provides an excellent guide for new parents. With advances in pediatrics, I recommend this book because it replaces all the free advise we get from all and sundry with logical and sensible solutions to common parenting concerns.

One of the most comprehensive books on infants and caring for an infant. Very detailed, easy to understand even for a first-time mother. I started bathing my daughter after we came back from the hospital and thanks to this book I could bathe her myself without anyone's help even the first day :-)

It gives you all the information alright... But, when you have a specific question on mind, I found it easier to search online rather than flip the pages of the book. Also, the book targets the moms in US, not India...

I found online formation on websites like babycenter much more informative. You can see pictures, videos and what not. Be it breast feeding, or baby development... It also has food recipes ...

The book is very informative. It answers most of the question you have in your mind. Few of them (only a few) may not be applicable for our Indian society, other than that we find this as a very useful guide
