As Hellen Keller wrote, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with heart." Experiences in life are a building block for our present and future selves.
We thrive in moments and flow with our streams of consciousness. The human condition is filled with a range of emotions and feelings. This collection of poems is a reflection of a journey with various experiences in life that build our identity.
The collection is written from my perspective as an individual, woman, educator, mother, and person who practices critical thinking. Even though the poems in the collection exhibit a self-reflective journey, the readers can find a piece of themselves in the poems they read. In that sense, we are all wildflowers with free spirits and independent thinking, waiting to be heard, seen, and appreciated. Probably, by voicing out my perspectives in a poetic manner, I'll be able to capture and attract the wildflower in you.
