Synopsis and Features

The events of Fable: The Journey occurs 50 years after the events of Fable III and is a standalone title with no connection to the previous games. You control a commoner named Gabriel who gets separated from his family and tribesmen. Struggling to find his way back, Gabriel happens to come across a wounded lady named Theresa, who informs him that a darkness called The Corruption has taken over the city of Albion. She requests Gabriel to take her to the Tattered Spire so that she could recover and restore her power.

Fable: The Journey is designed to evoke a sense of deja vu with events of Fable III still being felt during the journey in this game. If you have played the previous games in the series you will quickly fall in love with the game play and feel right at home. The journey takes Gabriel through large portions of Albion which is beautifully designed. Travel in style with a horse driven carriage and cover vast distances in very little time. Treat your horse well and he will exhibit a healthy glow. If you whip the horse in order to make him go faster, the horse will suffer and his health may deteriorate. You can even use specific voice commands to instruct the horse to perform certain actions.
