    Did not like

This book can be considered as a written extract of material to lure UPSC aspirants. Knowledge offered is meant to distract one from reading. Small font size, absolutely cramp writing style and perhaps written by individuals who are still adept at UPSC papers of past (2009 backwards). Go for some other book and suggest us also.

If you have good rote memory...then buy it.

We don't have much options for culture so we usually land on it at the end.Otherwise I don't enjoy it at all.Its like you are bombarding with information. In every line you have facts to mug up.I am a human being not a super computer. It should contain some pictures to present at least dances and art forms. Its too difficult to imagine everything.Really its very hard to retain anything even after reading it several times. Plz make it little interesting ....

    Good

As their is no other material available to prepare Indian Culture paper this book can give some hope, it may have small font or paper quality not good, but this reason is not sufficent to underestimate this book....This book is very good for base building.....as cost is also low...... if after reading this book one would refer to NIOS book......

    A good book for culture

The topic of Culture is attracting a lot of question in the UPSC-CSE exam and this is one of the sole book that deals with the topic in detail. The quality of the page is not good but overall a good book to understand the topic.

Low rating for the lack of quality of paper and low quality print.

    Much better one!

Aspects are clearly explained and serves the purpose of the day! Briefing could have been much more effective! But, it has an edge over many other books on the culture of india. Buying it doesn't make any loss!
