A Travellogue and Romance rolled into one

We are introduced to the heroine of the tale, Arya (lovely name by the way), an investment banker with a degree in art history, living in Mumbai, travelling all over the world for on-site inspections, with a love of expensive shoes and clothes and belonging to a middle-class south Indian family. In fact, she is just like so many women I know; intelligent, independent, loves her family and given to a weakness for the more luxurious materialistic pleasures of life. She gets engaged to her boyfr...

It was okey, average story line

I thought almost all the characters, except Ishaan, were like straight out of some hilarious movie. Ayra herself was likable. From being horribly insecure and confused, she did quite well as a free independent, investment banker. Uber cool Karthik managing a band was the perfect bachelor. Though one of the lead I didn’t like Ishaan- the quintess...

Ayras Chennai roots, a typical Indian family are beautifully described and so is a newer concept for most of the Indian readers - wine making. The detailing is...

Awesome read

This is a super fun book with bits of Mumbai, Chennai, Italy all thrown in. There's something for the romantic, the comic, the idealist, the mystery junkie and and the travel obsessed in this book. Its the story of a person finding herself and what she really enjoys (something I am still in the process of doing in fact) and the bits about the family in Chennai felt like she was writing about my family only! I chuckled my way through the hilarious antics of Ayra K. and cant wait for Reshma Bs ...
