Bajra, or pearl millet, is one of the most widely grown superfoods in India. Our ancestors have a long history of consuming Bajra and other millets for several years. It is easy for our bodies to absorb and digest millets. The flour is stone ground which helps retain the aroma and taste. Bajra helps your body stay warm in winters. Bajra is a great source of magnesium and Potassium to keep your heart healthy and has good amounts of fiber to reduce bad cholesterol. We use Sardar Bajra, which is of the finest type grown in the Pune district of Maharashtra. Our Bajra flour is stone ground by local women entrepreneurs from Mahalaxmi Swayam Sahayata Samuh, including 10 rural women from the Khed Taluka in Maharashtra.
