I bought these shades as my eyes are very sensitive to the heavy glare of Xenons which most insensitive drivers love to flash on others on the road especially bikers. It helped cut out the glare immensely and I'm glad I am not let seeing persistent halos and bright spots as I used to previously because of strong halogens or xenons while driving at night. During day time the shades look cool however they aren't as effective in blocking the sun rays.
