A single-player/multiplayer sports video game that was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts, FIFA 11 is the eighteenth title in EA’s FIFA game series. This, the PC version of FIFA 11, was rated 3 by PEGI and uses the same game engine as the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. FIFA 11 received a rating of 8.5 out of 10 from IGN and 9 out of 10 from GameSpot. Apart from the next-gen gameplay engine, FIFA 11 features the Two Button control system, formerly introduced in the 2010 FIFA World Cup game, which allows novices and new players to learn how to play the game with great ease. One can customize his or her online avatar and compete against other players for a better position on the leaderboard through the FIFA World feature. FIFA 10’s manager mode for the console has been incorporated in this game with a few tweaks. When one exits a game mode, he or she can access the practise area which is a new addition. Pro Club Championship, Virtual Pro game mode and 5 vs. 5 online team play are other highlights of the PC version of FIFA 11. Furthermore, custom tactics, LAN play and 360° dribbling have been included as well.
The goalkeepers have been granted better perception so that they can intercept balls with a greater efficiency, thereby rendering a more powerful and responsive rushing system. Now, with more agility, goalkeepers can perform much more impressive saves. New animation warping technology permits realistic goalkeeper momentum and positioning.
