    Description

Fifty Shades Darker, written by E. L. James, is the second installment in the erotic romance trilogy titled Fifty Shades, followed by Fifty Shades Freed, featuring a tormented entrepreneur and his tormented relationship with his girlfriend.

    Summary Of The Book

In Fifty Shades Of Grey, author E. L. James introduces readers into the world of BDSM, through his main characters, Christian and Anastasia. The first book highlights the beginning of their relationship and Anastasia’s introduction to the world of BDSM.

In Fifty Shades Darker, author E. L. James begins with Christian and Anastasia’s break up. Anastasia has moved on with her career to Seattle Independent Publishing House, a reputed publishing house where she is hired as Jack Hyde’s personal assistant. Almost immediately, Anastasia begins to feel uneasy around Jack, but she writes it off. She is continually tormented by thoughts of Christian. So when Christian suggests a new arrangement, she doesn’t refuse and the pair rekindle their sensual affair. Unbeknownst to Anastasia, Christian acquires SIP. When Anastasia learns about this purchase, she is enraged. Meanwhile, Christian puts a freeze on the accounts to prevent Anastasia from going on an overnight business trip with Jack. Later, Anastasia discovers that Jack is a philanderer and Christian was simply trying to protect her.

In the second installment, James also reveals secrets from Christian’s past. Secrets or rather demons, which Christian attempts to wrestle. At the same time, Anastasia is confronted by Christian’s previous submissive and paramours. As the pair wrestles with the people from Christian’s past, their relationship continues to grow.

The entire Fifty Shades of Grey series has sold over 90 million copies and topped best-seller charts in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Fifty Shades Darker (Book II); Fifty Shades Freed (Book III)

Having read Fifty Shades of Grey (Book I), I could not wait to read the next two parts - but what a let down. There was no story line worth the name. In fact, take out the sex and theres no book at all. Anyone reading this who was keen to try out Vol II and III of Fifty - don't bother. If at all you want to know what Katy..er, Ana and Christian did next, wait until your neighbourhood circulating library buys it. Otherwise, just pick up any old piece of Mills & Boone. You won't go far wrong.

    A mushy, mysterious tale

The Ana - Christian romance finally developing into a sensible, sincere relationship. This book is more normal, more mushy but definitely not the run of mill kinds. Ana's brush with Christians dark past keeps the story focused and their romantic escapades remind the reader of the regular Mills and Boons novels.

The character sketch of Christians adoptive family is sensitively laid though that of his first partner 'Elena' seems half-baked. Anastasia comes across as more strong and sensible t...

    Addictive

I bought this later after reading part 1. I had written a review of the former as, may be not reading this book. But as soon as i started reading this one, it just got interesting. Unraveling Grey's past and his changing behaviour. I just could'nt put the book down. Its very interesting book and though some may say E.L.James has slow writing, but it was in actual form addicting.

Part II of the Fifty Shades Trilogy

this book was a bit of a let down after the first one. it was completely mushy and its rather difficult to believe that a man who was so into control and BDSM is willing to give that up for an almost entirely vanilla relationship just out of love. he obviously has deep issues that are not satisfactorily dealt with.

    Interesting Story Line

This book is better than the rest of the two books.. in this book the reader has succeeded in creating an interest in the reader's mind.. In this book the writer has involved the story about the character's past life and it tells how ana has dealt with all those things.. Its a good book..
