Learn and master the art of figure drawing with Figure Study: Made Easy. The book is a comprehensive, and pedagogical approach to the study of the human figure.
Summary Of The Book
Capturing the fine details of the human body requires a clear understanding about the techniques of illusion. Figure Study: Made Easy reaffirms Michelangelo's comparison of drawing with design, and aims at instilling in its readers the concept of design in art.
The author uses his expertise in designing and conceptualization to introduce the basics of figure sketching in a systematic, progressive manner. The book shows you how to capture the spirit and essence of a figure, and presents techniques that would help novice artists streamline their thoughts. Figure Study: Made Easy is a comprehensive guide for the proper study of the human figure, and is based on the teachings of great masters whose pioneering work has produced figure drawings of unforgettable beauty and strength.
The book is handy regardless of whether the user is learning figure drawing as a hobby or as a career profession. Figure Study: Made Easy is a well designed book that successfully incorporates an extremely methodical approach to drawing. The book is a complete study of the human figure, and it emphasizes the fact that the key to mastering figure drawing is to remember to practice only one concept at a time.
