    Solid perfromer at 8k

    Pros: Solid build quality, Low price, Excellent sound quality

    Cons: Amp is not that powerful but sufficient for IEMS and low impedence headphones, minor ui issues

    Build :-

    The Fiio X1 is extremely well built. It is a bit thick but that didn't bother me at all. Although it can seem metallic, its mostly plastic but fit and finsih is great.

    UI and screen :-

    The screen is okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. It gets the job done. The UI looks pleasing but has some quirks but nothing too major....

    Solid overall build and sound quality from this budget-priced high resolution audio player!

    One evening while rocking my baby boy to sleep in a stroller and listening to MP3 files on my iPhone 6, I had an epiphany: "I'm tired of these compressed highs that sound so harsh!"     Excellent replacement of Cowon I audio 10 (which is discontinued by the manufacturer). The sound of the DAC is very warm and natural sounding and the signature sound is good.Cowon had a tranperant DAC like Samsung Galaxy phones.The sound was too coloured.     Fiio X1 IS THE BEST DAP

    FIIO X1 is my first "audiophile" DAP, damn good music player at Rs.7500/-,feels like a solid product to me and i would say that i'm very happy with the purchase.Sound quality is excellent when compared to other portable players.Highly recommended for serious music listeners. The spin wheel of the device is lil annoying, but that's oky with the prize and sound quality of the device.

    Fiio the best . purchase and enjoy the beauty of Loss Less .

    1. Head phones with nice bass required to find the elixir of the FLACs and loss less sound tracks. I am fancy to use wired headphones since it is simple.
    2. Sound Equilizar available of all types .
    3. Give the charge with 2 amps charger of good quality .
    4. There is no charger provided by the company . But will forget about the charger when listen the sound .

    Great music player!

    UI is bit clunky but SQ is the best in class, at least better than ipods anyway. No internal memory, so SD card is a must. Battery backup is decent easily gets 10+ hrs on full charge. If planning on buying audiophile grade DAP, this is a great start point,

    Sounds Great

    Good sound , clean UI and good battery backup ,
    The jog dial isn't accurate but that's absolutely fine as for 8k you don't have much to complain, given the amazing clear soundstage.
    pair it with a good headphone AMP and you would love it, the lack of power will no longer be an issue.
    pair it with decent monitor headphone or IEMs and its pure bliss
    The new firmware v1.3 adds some much needed features.

    Product Description

    High Quality DAC Chip

    This mp3 player uses Texas Instruments' PCM5142 chip which surpasses integrated DAC chips on smartphones, giving you clear, loud sound to all your music. It even employs Intersil's ISL28291 amplifier buffer for a holistic sound experience.

    Music Formats

    This MP3 player supports five major music formats - APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA and ALAC, up to 192 kHz/24 bits. It also supports mp3 and aac files.

    Design
