Good content, however format needs to be better

Flipkart as usual was brilliant in shipping and packaging.
The product content was fantastic and I loved it a lot. However I would have preferred it to be on a DVD format with HD quality - of course would have paid more for it. So I would advise others to wait/search for HD quality DVD rather than this VCD.

Only for cricket lovers

The movie takes you down the memory lane. Good for people who follow cricket and not just watch it for a few stars.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Good quality DVD. Good resolution even on a large screen TV.

Jeff Dujon Once Said "No Maan Pulled Andy Maan!!"

1. I never felt as if this was a documentary. Maybe I am so passionate about cricket that I never felt like leaving the theater.
2. The documentary is not just on cricket but on how cricket lifted the spirit of the entire society as a whole.

slam dunk !! Must See movie

Hindsight is 20/20. Clive Lloyd and his boys made history and the mantle was then transferred to Sir Viv. The movie captures and depicts the various dimensions leading to ascendancy and then domination of the WI cricket team led by the pace battery.

Deep depiction of an era of dominance spell binding, engrossing and elevating.

When...Cricket meant more than a game

This documentary endears itself to the die hard fans as well as to others ,who don"t follow the game. The cultural past of the Caribbean islands and the oppression under their British masters shine through in a lucid manner throughout the film.

If you have elders in your family, who love Cricket, this will certainly bring back some fond memories and a smile ....

All in all...a great package

"You don't need a helmet mon, you got a bat. Hit it away if it comes at you."

Perhaps the forebear to Fire in Babylon is Calypso Summer, which is about the West Indies touring Australia in 1960/61. Frank Worrell had become the first black captain of the West Indies and such was the impression his team made in Australia, that to this day, the two teams play for a trophy bearing his name.
Also Viv sounds like a cement mixer with gravel in it, very rich baritone.

Movie rating- 8(As a movie lov...
