    Right-side Alt Key??

Excellent phone - loved it the first time I saw it and ordered it right-away from Flipkart!

Found out that the Alt key on the right side doesn't unfortunately work - Flipkart was kind enough to arrange for a reverse pick-up and replacement. The replacement piece also had the same defect :(.

I think this is something that Motorola, which is currently looking at rebuilding its brand, needs to very seriously look into, as one can find references to this defect all over the web already!!!

    So,...

    Motorola Fire user review

Design wise Motorola Fire seems very sleek and not too wider compared to other qwerty models in the market , new sleek design makes it very easy to handle it your palms. Motorola Fire features a new user interface from Motorola called “Moto Switch” which makes every thing faster and improved UI with 5 Home screens, widgets and social network ,email, message notifications.

The Motorola Fire has a 2.8 QVGA touchscreen display obviously 2.8 QVGA is not good for web browsing but we suggest o...

I just bought this phone. great value for money. What u r getting is
    latest android version
    amazing UI
    Good capacitive touch screen
    Great multi touch
    comfortable querty
decent screen size and Portrait UI form for best android experience

The camera is not that great but clicks decent pics in bright light. ALso the back panel could have been more sturdy. I have just started using it so trying to understand features but overall good value for money.

A niche phone for a specific clientele.

1)this phone is not for expert android users or gamers.

2)If you are looking for a good alternative to a blackberry, don't like typing on touch screens and do not intend to load your phone with many apps, this phone is perfect.

3)the QWERTY key pad is really good to type on, and even though the internal memory is pretty small (around 170 mb), it is reasonable for the price you pay. The samsung alternative to this price range is a full touch screen (Galaxy Y S5360) with a worse camera and ...

    Right Side Alt Key

I have read it in many reviews that the right side 'alt' key doesn't work. That is not actually the case. Go in settings - Language and Keyboard and uncheck 'multi-touch keyboard'. The Right side 'Alt' key will start working, but its still of no use, as its function is the change of language from English to Chinese, Japanese or a few others that atleast I don't Know. :)

Disappointed with another Motorola touch screen!

I was very happy to find a touch phone with a qwerty keypad that wasn't too bulky (like my previous Motorola Droid), however I have had the following issues with the phone that I used to have with my other Motorola too:
    - Phone randomly restarts, sometimes in the middle of a call
    - Touch buttons stop working, it seems to take a few restarts or time to work again
    - Have to keep this screen super clean for it to respond correctly to which icon I press.
    Good points
    - Phone is compact
    - Screen i...

    Moto Fire

Nice phone in this price range. Could have been better if it had 512 MB internal memory. Not good for running multiple apps at a time. The battery is good, works for a day with GPRS and 3-4 apps running in the background.
