Again in my case also the CD didnt work any how the matters in the book are quite interesting and flipkart did an awesome job by delievering it very quickly and in proper condition

Firstly, the delivery by flipkart was awesome. Placed the order on 18th October and it was delivered on 19th.
The book is excellent in terms of the coverage of syllabus. All the corners of the syllabus are well covered. The book has sufficient no. of solved examples as well as unsolved ones.
The mock papers are also up to the expected standard.
However, the CD that comes does not work, though, it is a minor drawback compared to the overall quality of the book.

this is a wonderful book. it has three previous years solved GATE papers. the content in the book is crisp and easy to understand.

I was lucky purchasing the same at INR 441 at flipkart on 02-07-2013 as this was the lowest price that no retailer was offering.

Highlighting points :

1. I have gone through this previous edition and found a lot very good useful stuff to crack GATE and have decided to go for this new edition.
2. Coaching for GATE examination is not ...

Not good for gate.. better opt for online test series of made easy or ace academy.

For a beginner, it's a perfect book. All the required theory and basic formulae are given topic wise. it helped me a lot in cracking my gate.

If you want to show your friend that u r prepairing for gate then its ok.but the book is really not good...

This Book gives the necessary and sufficient contents to crack the exam. The practice sets they had given are as per the new GATE exam format. After doing this book completely you can certainly get IIT or NIT after GATE.

It is a very helpful book of arihant publishers.. at 1st solved papers are given then subjectwise including chapterwise & Topicwise brief theory & levels of M.C.Q with their solutions.. Microprocessor is also included although it is excluded of GATE syllabus, it will hwlpful in IES Examinations. I think practise with this book will increase depth & concept in every fields & will widen the views for all competitive exams.

This book has covered most of the topics in Electrical Engineering to the best detail necessary for GATE... The Handbook for the same is also recommended... Completely doing this book every nook and corner will make you one of the GATE toppers....All the best!!
