Must Read

Another delightful read from Sangeeta.

Its about our contemporary life, you & me, us & them brought into sharp light of a personal narrative that entertains as well as makes you think of issues in new ways.

The book is a page turner and the story has such interesting weaves that it is hard to put down.

A strong feminine angle...bold too!

Flight of the Flamingo gives due recognition to the everyday woman’s courage and determination.

Mansi Vakhariz of DNA says

Finally a book that speaks about everything on a new-age woman’s mind. Flight of the Flamingo, first book in the Beyond Pink series, manages to artistically blur the lines between fact and fiction. The book deals with some very mundane experiences and dilemmas of a female character that are relevant in today...

Worth a read!

Story telling as an art with themes centered around women, usually go a little on the emotional over run. But this book is a deviant... written crisp & to the point.
Being successful & staying successful especially as full time working women... the highs & lows.. this story gives it all... matured in characters & intense.
A fine thing to have in the collections!

A joyous flight

Flight of the Flamingo is very different from the typical story that we have come t expect from the chick lit genre. I don’t even think it qualifies as chick lit.

The novel is made of multiple stories all bound by the narrative of the main character, Preeta Dhingra, a book editor. A book lands up on her table, which tells the personal story of a very successful woman whose husband cheated on her. Preeta finds an echo in her own story and wants to publish the book against the advice of the p...

Its a one-go read!

When you can't put a book down without reading it to the end you know you're reading something that has moved you, that has involved you to the extent that you start feeling every bit of what the characters in the story go through. Flight of the Flamingo is one of those books that has you at the edge of your seat while inspiring the woman in you to go out there and do what needs to be done. It provokes that girl in you whose dying to live outside the barbie doll kind of perfections that she i...
