    About A. C. Kermode

    A. C. Kermode was a distinguished ex-Air Vice Marshal, RAF officer, Education Officer and author. He is known for his bestselling books and his stellar service record. A. C. Kermode has also written Mechanics of Flight, The Aeroplane Structure and Hydrofoils.

    Kermode served as a Civilian Instructor, and technical observer at RAE Farnborough Experimental flying, Senior Education Officer and Science Tutor with the RAF. He has also served as an RAF Commanding Officer, Command Education Officer, Group Captain and Air Vice Marshal. He also worked as a Director of Educational Services before his retirement.

    Better Clarity about aircraft

    The author has explained very practically about the basic priniciples of aircraft. He has given lot of practical examples to understand how aircraft works in air. I think all the aerospace professionals should read this book. The chapters covered are very informative and they are in good sequence. Well, I enjoyed reading this book.     Back to the very basics
