Karma Returns, Preeti style

Just received the debut novel by Preeti Singh, and couldn’t keep it down once started reading.
Finished it in one go, a no-nonsense, well written piece, in easily understandable language, despite some editing flaws.
Subject chosen is a welcome change in the time when every other fiction book is layered with school/college romance. Although an overdose of intimate scenes could have been avoided, but still a well blend mix of emotion, lust, anger, revenge, pain, care, affection, hate, fear.
I...

Flirting with fate by Preeti Singh.

Somewhere I read "Flirting with fate" is a book of 80's. What instantly struck my mind was, I am not reading it. Well, the thought passed off soon. I kept on reading Preeti Singh's status updates like routine fb stuff. What I like the most about them is, they are real and one can connect to most of them.

I read some good things about her book on her wall and I got into two minds. Anyhow," Flirting with fate" came into my hands and I still had notions, it sounds strange I am sure.

Review of Book Flirting with fate by Lt Gen Harwant singh

Flirting with fate is one of those books that you find difficult to put down and want to finish it in one sitting. The story is gripping and dwells into varied human emotions: hopes, aspirations and dreams. It peeps deep into the human mind: its benevolence, compassion, desires, hopes, aspirations and wickedness. It looks into the psychology of a criminal disposition and the underlying motivations for revenge and crime.

The story essentially relates to a children’s charity home with one of...

Book Review

This does not look like the work of a debutante....the writing is mature, simple , "Indianized" and very visual..you can imagine yourself standing there...
The first ten pages get you hooked for the rest of the book and you keep on wondering what will happen next...
Riveting plot...
great to see somebody trying something different and showing things which are very much plausible...
Recommendation : should finish in one go..
Suggestion: the transformation of the protagonist could have been a l...

Flirting with Fate

Recently I had the honour to read an autographed debut book of Ms Preeti Singh – Flirting with Fate. It has a very interesting story line and I must say it is very well written. Once you start reading it, you want to finish it in one sitting only.

Let me quote a line from the blurb; ‘Anand does just about anything possible to get love…acceptance…and happiness… Don’t we all do that too?’ After reading the book this is one question that keeps haunting you. You go back in time to dig out long f...

We all know "Karma Returns"

I got lured with the title of this book and reviews here made my decision of buying this book even more stronger. But, honestly I am disappointed..
We all know that karma returns to you...what you sow , so shall you reap....

This book revolves around one character "Anand" , other characteristics of this book are medicorely described thus making me go around the bush of this one character.

Message of this book clearly shouts out loud but it does not interestingly come out the way the title...

KARMA SURELY RETURNS

Will you think twice before committing a crime or telling a lie? Do we really reap what we sow? Does Karma really return or is it just a myth?.... The lines i went through... really touched and blowed my heart and mind away... I dont know whether u repay for the things u do or not but i understand the presence of the energy that somewhere calls you for not availing that.. simply thanks to u mam for writing such a beautiful story that made m,e realize the importance of Act of Deeds... Surely K...

A book 'You' don't want to miss out on!

A note to the author:
Preeti Ma'am, a lovely book to read-definitely a hook-on once you start. Initially I thought it was a waste of money when I purchased it, but as I kept reading.....wow! At the end of the book, I kept asking myself questions... the story sounds so realistic, is it? or is it really fiction? I am impressed by the book.
