NICHIBAN STEPTY HEMOSTATIC BANDAGE. For stopping the flow of blood using pressure immobilization after immobilizing the intravenous line, following the drawing of blood using thick injection needles (14-18 gauges). Features of the pad area 6 mm thick. A sufficient hemostatic effect is achieved by the pressure applied through the secure fastening of the adhesive tapes. Oval-shaped, 27 mm long. The tape covers the gap between the access site of the skin and the vessels, to stop the bleeding of the vessels with angiopressure. The oval-shape helps soothe skin irritation. The first layer, which has direct contact with the skin, is made from an extremely thin non-woven cellulose fabric which instantly absorbs the blood. The tape area consists of a non-woven polyester fabric with water repellent properties, preventing blood discharges to the back of the tape.
