This scale allows me to enter a 3-digit code for a food item, and then it tells me the weight of the portion and the number of grams of carbohydrates. Then I can easily calculate the amount of insulin that I must inject. I have had this scale for about two years and it has worked perfectly. This scale has made my life (as a diabetic) a lot easier.
