| Author Info | - Dr. P. Vishnu Dev teaches Sociology at the Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Indology and Comparative Religions, Tübingen University, Germany. His extensive field experience and several research projects carried out on Tribal communities in India have broadened the proper understanding of foragers in the context of modern development models. He has published several articles in national and international journals. His areas of interest include Tribal Studies, Hunter-Gatherer Societies, Political Sociology and Religious Studies. He combines academic pursuits with various administrative experiences to serve youth and student community.
