    Meh

The product is good in paper quality and print size. The delivery was timely and the product was in a good condition when I received it. At this price, it is a good buy. But, I was quite disappointed by the story and the various elements in it. Still, it is a pioneering work in the field of sci-fi. It's not really horrific or scientifically fantastic though.

Better when the creature tells his story

Since the book revolves around the creature, it had be taken into serious account and Mary Shelly has done a decent job with the creature's life story.
It reflects the social prejudice on how somebody's looks define their whole life.

Good sci-fic horror book, but not the best!!!

It was written 2 centuries back so if you consider this then Frankenstein was truly path-breaking book, but a master-piece? for me it had potential to be a masterpiece, but fell short it, may be i was expecting a lot from it.Book has it's moments but somewhere around it is not able to convince reader it's content.
About the quality of book, it is good enough for the price!!!

Was the Monster more sinned against than sinning?

Frankenstein was the earliest of sci-fi novels and this books luckly comes with a short preface by the author mentioning the conception of the tale - this makes this the to buy copy if you are a literature student.

The monster is given no name or real identity in the book and is almost the 'other'. Frankenstein the creator wishes to play God not for wealth but for power as science does gift a certain amount of power. Unfortunately he lacks the foresight to understand that responsibility for ...
