Anyway it is a great book for beginners. It teaches nuances of sketching by making you aware of what to and what not to see. Also the pen only medium teaches to commit mistakes and rectify it in next sketch rather than rubbing the mistakes off from same sketch. I am an architecture student but a li'l weak in free hand sketching. I bought this book thinking there would be buildings I would draw. But this has done a great job. It starts from teaching us on how to draw straight lines to curve lines and makes a systematic progress. no rush to drawing tough complicated drawings. It teaches us on how to pay attention to details of lines and then moves on to shadow and darkness and rest of the details a sketch should contain. A great book for beginners. A ...
