WORTH EVERY RUPEE...

The DVD was delivered in excellent packing. The delivery was before the scheduled date.

BBC has done a wonderful job in capturing the poles in its entirety. It even has behind the scenes, it shows us the turmoils the crew had undergone to get us the details for us to see in the comforts our living rooms.

One more jewel in the crown of BBC Nature Documentaries

Documentary buffs familiar with the BBC and David Attenborough need no encouragement to buy this DVD. As always, this DVD is riveting, with some edge-of the-seat sequences featuring chases, river melts etc. The photography is gorgeous. An added attraction is the segment on the human presence in Antarctica today, and how technology has enabled year-round human presence in this most forbidding of environments. There is also an episode featuring the research carried out in Antarctica.
