After using SL300 for about 1 year.

I've been using this camera for almost a year now and I'm pretty much satisfied. It's one of the best point and shoot camera out there.
Here are the pros and cons.
Pro:
-The best thing about this camera is it's zoom.
-Photo quality is satisfactory.
-Battery life is reasonable.
-Take's amazing macro shots.

Cons
-Video quality not so good.
-Too much noise in the image when fully zoomed.
-Photo quality is nowhere near DSLR. (No point and shoot can give you DSLR quality).

I just got this camera. this is my first camera. i wanted to buy a dslr actually. but i thought of practicing with this for some time and i got this one. all the photos are coming out awesome. this is been more than my expectations. but if your gonna begin photography this is the best camera for you.. and i'm so happy that i have this. this is more like equal to D-SLR.

this is my first camera ever in my life .... i had ordered it today but very excited to receive it.. from how many people i have asked about this camera everyone says it is "THE BEST" with its features of digital eye deduction, 30x zoom, 14 m.p. ,and good flash etc. ... best for personal use, small in size and and very easy to carry due to less weight..... please guys who so ever want to buy a camera for first time i recommend you for this only because it is good in every aspect which a begin...

Value For Money & good choice for beginners.....
Electronic viewfinder is present in this which is very good.
Easy to use with SRAuto.
Good battery life.
2cm minimum focusing distance allows for good macro shots also Versatile zoom range.Comes with a strap and lens cap.Rubber on grip and lens makes it easy to hold.
Overall Excellent!!!!
