About M. L. Gambhir

M. L. Gambhir is a Professor of Civil Engineering. He has written other textbooks including Concrete Technology: Theory and Practice, Design Of Reinforced Concrete Structures, Fundamentals of Structural Steel Design, and Building Materials: Products, Properties and Systems.

M. L. Gambhir has an M.E. from IIT Roorkee. He earned his Ph.D from Queen's University in Canada. He has been the HOD and the Professor of Civil Engineering at Thapar University in Patiala. He has also held the position of the Dean of Planning and Resource Generation. He is a member of the Indian Society for Earthquake Technology and the Indian Society of Technical Education. He has written more than sixty-five technical papers.
