My mobo (Gigabyte GA G41M Combo) supports only 1066 Mhz of ram (1333 on overclock) so it made little sense to buy the popular 1600 Mhz modules like Ripjaws or Vengeance. I ordered 2 of these to help me with Photoshop and boy they do their job!

The first thing I did was put them through Memtest86 and they passed with flying colors. I am using them with e4500 overclocked @ 3.0 Ghz, OS Windows 7 Ultimate X64 and they run at about 1090 Mhz, Work like a charm. Windows Experience Index of 6.5

Finally a ram that works flawlessly with ( gigabyte g41m combo mobo ) DDR 3 compatible motherboard ... If one is running 32 bit windows 7 then one 4gb stick is good enough ( 32 bit operating system has max 4 gb cap limitation ) , where as 64 bit operating has no limit .. Mine is supporting 2 x 4gb sticks ... Worth it ...

Performance: Basically a 1333 Rip-Jaws Ram without the heatsink. is the same as a corsair 4gb 1333 value-ram.
The heatsink doesnt make much differnce & unless you want to overclock it which is kinda pointless trying to overclock RAM. when you can get the same for just a bit more. Although the heatsink does provide a marginal increase in performance and more durability.

Looks: the only g.skill ram with a colour scheme that I like and matches my AsRock board.

Price: Considering I bought this ...

Just received this from Flipkart. Thanks to their super-fast Delivery. Coming to the product...I bought 2 of these in a shot. I first installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit version not knowing that it doesn't support more than 4GB RAM!

After installing Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64, the 8gb RAM is full available and usable, and working like a powerhouse!

Highly recommended if you like multitasking. Especially useful when you like running multiple programs - like many tabs on your browser, Photos...
