VERY GOOD BOOK FOR UNDERSTANDING BASICS
Each and every topic is clearly explained with important points
The explaination is given in an easy way,which makes us to understand very easily.
Exercise for each and every topic makes us to get grip of that topic perfectly.
O.S part is very well explained and Aptitude part is well covered with good exercises.
Cons:
Previous year papers are not much covered.
The 2nd most important subject in gate "computer organization" is not upto the mark and the solutions are not well explained for...

Not worth !!!!!!
I will refer you guys Pearson book which they have just launched. This book is not worth a penny.

Theory part(meant for revision purpose only)is covered nicely with intro exercises after certain section of topic.
Brief explanation for almost all questions.
BUT
has plenty of errors especially in DBMS section.
So dont blindly trust this book..
