I had this book delivered just a week before my entrance test. It is very concise and informative. Updates are available until March 2014. There are some grammatical goof-ups in it. But overall a great buy for someone who likes to read on-the-go!

Awesomely Compiled !

Seriously this book is totally worth your money. It comes really handy for all exams including UPSC (believe me ! ) for last minute revision & I couldn't find time in the 11th hr to read cover History from conventional books for UPSC prelims, just revised this book & got almost all of them right. Still doubts? check for yourself. ( yet, don't completely rely on this book, it doesn't work all the time) but I'm sure this book is sufficient enough for rest other exams' (like state PSC, bank jobs...

Price on higher side.

This book is available at just Rs. 105 on rediff. i don't understand as why is flipkart charging higher.The contents of the book is good and can be referred for competitive exams.

Great Book for Competitive Exams but

This is a really great book for competitive exams, where you will find every single thing explained in jisted form, just the much you want to know to clear the exams. Then you can always read the textbooks to gather more informations. Anyways this is a solid GK book as per my review but the page quality is DISGUSTING. If you underline anything using a gel pen, you can easily see the marks on the back side of the book. But for the content, its always worth purchasing :)
