Taking into consideration the fact that sometimes people buy this book at the starting phase of their preparation I would opine that this strategy might not be the best. Though the topics are too concise and a first timer will definitely struggle to get a conceptual foundation based solely on this manual nevertheless he/she will definitely get a rough idea about the topics which are to be studied and which he/she can later on enforce through comprehensive reading of the authoritative texts, s...

Very Helpful for CSAT

I received this book in three days..Good service by Flipkart. Book covers all the topics as per syllabus of CSAT ( Since paper setters sometimes ask questions from unknown sources, no one can make a book where each question is covered.) No doubt it is bulky but it is worthy if it gives all the material in one place helping CSAT aspirant revise full syllabus during last days of preparation.
Since you prepare for mains also , It is good to read Basic Books first and then read this book .. read...

Road to sucess in CSAT 2015 begins with this manual

There are many updates as compared to previous gs manual. The back breaking move by UPSC in csat 2014 have made authors to change their way of presentation. This book completely may not substitute csat preparation but this is must in our preparation as it make us to rate ourself from application point of view of what we have, we will study during preparation.
Once again thanks to flipkart for providing book with low cost 940 rupees only as it costs around 1200rs in local retail shops
