Jump from one portal to another while playing Portal 2 or travel to the land of Tamriel to slay the dragons in The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim with the Genius Navigator G500 mouse. The optical mouse has many interesting features. Genius G500 is targeted towards the gaming crowd, but can also be used for everyday purposes. The gaming mouse is compatible with a variety of operating systems such as Windows 2000, XP, Vista and the Mac OS X.

The Genius Navigator G500 has a sleek and stylish design. The gaming mouse has a unique UV coated design. This special feature helps in retaining the original shine and prevents color decay. The mouse can be used for extended sessions of gaming as it has a comfortable and firm grip. The Genius mouse has an ambidextrous design that allows both right-handed as well as left-handed users to use the mouse, without any difficulty.

The Navigator has 3 buttons in total. These include the left- and right-click buttons along with the scroll wheel. The buttons can be used for a long time as they have a life span of 3 million clicks. The mouse has a natural visual appeal as it comes with dual LED fluorescent design.  You can easily connect the mouse to your computer through an unused USB port.

The Genius Navigator has a dpi sensor of 1600 dpi. This gives the mouse extra sensitivity. The feature is especially useful when you are playing RTS and FPS games as you need a higher level of accuracy to beat your opponent. The mouse can be used on almost any surface, without any hassle.

The mouse features a gaming sensor engine that assists in spot surface tracking. This is very helpful while you are playing FPS games as you can camp on a building tower with a sniper rifle and take out your enemy when he attempts a mistake.

      Average mouse

The first thing I noticed about the mouse is its size. It looks and feels like a laptop mouse. I have small hands and even I find it small! If you have large hands definitely do not buy this mouse.

      Good build quality
Pretty looking LED light at the back
      Works good without mousepad
Cursor does not crash when making small rapid drags (unlike non gaming mice)

      Poor tracking at high DPI
The cursor crashes when you make large rapid drags
      Small size

I think it would have been worth it...

You can try! If you are willing.....

Its a great mouse. I never got to try it thoroughly on FPS games but all in all its a bargain at the price we get this on flipkart. Also, I sure did spend quite sometime with it on RTS games and it served me well. The only con of it would be the build quality. It just doesn't give you that secured feeling which a price of this piece shouldn't.
