You can get a IDE to SATA converter cord , would hardly cost you 20bucks. All you need to do is go to a computer shop & get the cross cable cord, its a small extension kind of a thing, connect & wallah, your DVD writer is all good & ready to go. I bought this with Sempron 145 and unlocked it to AMD Athlon X2 4450e

Though second core was faulty but that's not motherboard's fault :-)

Running Corsair vengeance 4GB at 1600MHz without an issue (need manual setting from BIOS).

Pros:

Value, performance and stability.

Cons:
Not future proof (No USB3 or SATA3 but u know it b4 buying, don't u? )
Don't use ON/OFF charge utility, it causes blue screen.

This would have been a much better option compared to the BIOSTAR A780L3L i bought.

Sad i missed it, the price is almost the same and the features too.

Go for it if you are planing on a budget gaming pc (has a pci-e 2.0).
