Bought this to upgrade from a Gigabyte 790X board, two years after the 7 series was discontinued. Not a good choice. Let me explain.

The board now supports only half-length PCIE cards in the first slot, the NB heatsink blocks the space behind the slot. If you run two large graphics cards (like I do) you have no choice but to use that slot for soundcards or a wireless card. You can't. I don't know many cards that will fit that slot.

This is one of the most Efficient Motherboard in terms of Power to Performance. I had to choose between M5A99 FX and this one. M5A99 is also a cool board from asus, but it has a 6+2 Power Phase apart from UD5's 8+2. It doesnt matters much on stock performance but becomes significant while overclocking. The motherboard is intelligently built, with USB ports on proper position.

I bought this product with lots of expectation. But somehow, the motherboard stopped working now. Even the BIOS doesnt come up.

I would like to know how to use the warranty. Whom should I contact for warranty? How does it work. I am in dare need and my work is stalled because if this!!
