Almost perfect

Got this board (not from Flipkart, attractive as the price was - I needed the board in a day) to replace my aging HTPC setup, and it's almost perfect for the task.

The board is a bit smaller than the 9.6" square mATX format. This also makes it look a bit crowded. All cases might not have all the right mounting holes - my Antec NSK2480 doesn't so it sits with one mounting screw missing.

The B75 chipset doesn't allow splitting of processor lanes, so you are stuck with a single graphics slot. ...

Perfect for cost-effected consumers

This is a perfect Mobo for users who are on a tight budget...

PROS:
1. USB 3.0 (inbuilt + expansion supported)
2. PCIe express card slot (x16)
3. AMD graphics cards can be cross-fired(which may be a con for those who are planning for Nvidia.)
4. Micro-ATX form factor
5. Good overall build quality

CONS:
1. Only one SATA 6gbps connection is possible, others via SATA 3gbps. So installing more than one HDD will bring down your windows experience index ratings.
2. PCI expansion slot is weakly bu...

Good MoBo if you are on a very tight budget

I will list the things that the MoBo does not have first
a) No K processor support
b) NO dual GPU support
c) Only 1 cabinet fan control
d) No Lucid Virtu

Now the positives, which i must admit is very encouraging at this pricepoint
a) 4 RAM slots, but make sure you dont buy GSKILL or other top gaming RAM's or otherwise you will be able to use only 2
b) USB 3.0 - This is a big plus

So in the end this is a very good VFM Mobo for the user on a tight budget and obviously Gigabyte brand is con...

Best features in best price:

I was looking for a mobo to paired with i3-2120 and I need a SATA3 port as well as USB 3.0 and crossfire and SLI in future If I need them.
SO finally found this one, it's great covered almost everything I want in just 4800, what else can I expect, except overclocking this mobo contain everything a Z77 contains.
Although don't get confused with Intel B75 chipset tagline it just contain extra features to block USB and all, Gigabyte didn't compromise on performance at all.
So who all are tight o...

Gem of a Motherboard!

I was looking for a motherboard that would satisfy my need for PCI-E 3 and USB 3. Compared to the z77 or x79 motherboards, this has all those features for far lesser price. Thus I chose this for my upgrade along with an i5 3550, 4GB of ram from G.Skill and 2tb hdd from Seagate.
If you are upgrading to a current generation build with latest techs, I recommend this motherboard if you are short on your budget.
Also, those who upgraded from a dual ps2 ported motherboard like me may need to buy a ...

Good Buy... But There's a catch

I bought this mobo not from flipkart bt from Nehru Place for Rs.4500.
Flipkart is offering rev 1.0 but i got a revision 1.2 from Nehru Place.
The main differnce b\w the two is that rev 1.0 has a 4pin ATX 12v power connector, whereas in the rev 1.2 there is 8 pin 12v power connector. So if you have a good PSU with two 12v rails with two 4 pin connectors on each rail(which makes it 8 pin) you might not want the rev 1.0.
Otherwise It is a good solid mobo, with great gigabyte support.
If you're a...

Good motherboard for Hacintosh

I have purchased this motherboard from outside as flipkart one is out of stock. Its a nice basic motherboard who dont need much features and dont fiddle with the bios too much. The good news is that it is also Hacintosh compatible so running Mountain Lion with all the features working without any extra ordinary tweaks. A cheap motherboard to support that feature so a big plus plus for Hacintosh support out of the box
