Pros:
1] Good looking and sturdy build for base A590.
2] Sleek cordless handset A59H.
3] Reception and voice clarity is very good.
4] If base is kept in middle room, reception is clear on cordless in all the corners of my 3-BHK flat.
Cons:
1] Keypad is little too hard for operations.
2] Display font on both base and cordless is really bad... not expecting this from Siemens.
3] Can not store caller n...

I've used the Gigaset A590 for a few days and it pretty much works as advertised. The range is great in a two storey house even with the base not being placed in the centre as recommended. The handset remained crisp even in front of a WiFi modem so the 2.4 Ghz interference does not seem to be an issue. -keys are rubber not plastic so u hav to press hard
-no illuminated keys for cordless

-ringtones are horrible
- cordless does not have "redial" function which is very sad

This instrument is the best you can by at this price.
This is a must buy if you have to receive important phone calls and you do not have proper mobile network coverage.
The cordless phone does not disconnect your WIFI connection like it does on other cordless phones.
