Gripping Story!

It starts a little slow but somewhere close to the middle you just can't put it down. Its not the typical mystery novel and keeps you guessing till the very end. Overall a nice and an easy read. The main protagonists are well sketched, however, the same can't be said about the other characters.

Average

This book has a great story but very shallow characters. The narration is gripping but it does not connect deeply with the reader.

Nice Experience

The story is really good and was quite different and way better than that depicted in the movie. It gets quite boring in the beginning but after part-1, the twists and turns get chilling and will keep your hands glued to the book till the very last page!

A very good, if somewhat complicated crime novel

The book consists of two parts. Michael Blonkvist, a Swedish financial crime reporter is trying to nail down "a gangster in Armani suite" going by the name of Hans-Erik Wennerstorm, who he is confident of guilty of financial crimes, but fails in the court of law, because of inadequate proof, and therefore is convicted of libel. In the other part, Henrik Vanger, the CEO of Vanger Corporation is tormrnted by the disappearance of Harriet Vanger, a family member from a family gathering 36 years a...

STUNNED

I must say truly the best addictive novel ever. If you are looking a thrilling experience of mystery, I strongly recommend you this.
But the book delivered has some loose first pages be careful of that.

Thrilling and Appealing...

My first read in this genre. It’s an exciting read.
You will find yourself trying to push to reach the
end .The secrets that unfolds in the end keeps you
going on and on till the last.

Looking forward to pick some more of this series.

Good plot that significantly lacks pace

Good characterization. I'd have been a bit happier if the story was set somewhere other than Sweden. The locations were all tongue-twisters. The plot is considerably small when compared to the book thickness. The development of the plot is very slow and and the additional pages account for highly detailed characterization that I could not connect much easily due to a large number of characters involved in the story.

Excellent

A good book for any fiction reader, this book is about a missing girl of the great Vanger family before 40 years. Blomkvist and Salender(the girl with dragon tattoo) has to solve the mystery and find the missing girl. The thrill and suspense have taken the book, tempting to read till the end.
