Mind-blowing purchase
The book contains all the details of Go Programming language with main author being from Google and deeply involved with the language. I had seen comments on Indian bookseller sites for this book to the effect "that the paper quality and printing were bad in Indian edition and looked like photo copy". But the copy I received has good print quality and the paper is not bad (doesn't look cheap with pages stuck at the edges, smudged printing etc.) for the Indian edition. Additionally the price ...

I just recieved the book today. I was afraid of receiving a defective piece, but thankfully all the pages were present and no typos as mentioned in several other reviews. The paper quality isn't great, but shouldn't be a big problem.
Overall, I would say don't hesitate to order due to printing mistakes.

Best primer for Go Lang
The best book to learn or master golang. This book covers the concepts of the language in detail and the usual suspects from its standard library. Buy this book if you are person who asks WHY before HOW.

Missing pages and poor print and paper quality. Watch out!
This review is more for the publisher than the content of the book itself.
Pages between 334 and 351 are missing. The print and paper quality is poor as well. I guess when Pearson marked it as a low cost edition they really meant it.
The content itself is quite good. Concise and dense and reminds me of the "C Programming Language" book. This book could serve well as a reference on Go.

Flipkart testing my patience...
I am really disappointed to experience the way Flipkart handles book orders. I have to return a book thrice in 2 weeks time. How difficult would it be to check a book for defects before packing?
The first book i received had a slanted printing on all pages. The second one has missing pages. Third book same thing pages from 335 to 350 are missing. I am forced to wonder if this is done on purpose and defective returned items are added back to inventory to be shipped back to unsuspecting custo...

Decent product
The book is very good but it was very poorly wrapped up by Flipkart. Many of the pages got folded due to it!
